Follow the A30, heading for Redruth. At Chiverton Cross Roundabout take the exit towards St. Agnes and you will pass the Chiverton Arms pub on the right. Take the next turning left (signposted Mount Hawke) and shortly after take a right turn (signposted Mount Hawke). Continue on this road for approximately 1.5 miles. Soon after passing over a small crossroads turn right into Highfield Road. At the T-junction turn right into the main village street, passing Londis on the left and Mount Hawke Village Stores on the right. The road bears around to the right just past these shops but you need to turn left (in effect driving straight on) for a few yards. On the left you will pass a telephone kiosk and set back in a small square is the post office. Turn left into the narrow road beside the post office, which is Rope Walk. Continue on this narrow road as far as you can go and you will find yourself at Ropers Walk Barns.
